Measurement Guide

Coat & Inner Shirt Length

  • From the back of the Neck / Nape (as shown in the picture) down to the bottom of the buttocks or your desired length.
  • By default, length should cover the whole buttocks.

Shoulder

  • Measure the shoulder width starting from one end of the shoulder up to the other end of the shoulder.
  • Tape must run thru the contour of the shoulder.
  •  “End of the shoulder” is defined as where the horizontal plane of the shoulder intersects the vertical plane of the arm (see illustration).

Sleeves

  • Measure from the end of the shoulder down to the joint of the wrist.

Chest

  • Chest circumference is taken by wrapping the tape measure around the biggest part of the chest, as shown in the picture.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Figure

  • Same procedure as the chest measurement, but on the slimmest part of the body, or part between the chest and stomach.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Stomach

  • Same procedure as the chest measurement , but on the belly button part or the biggest part of the tummy.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Hips

  • Measure the fullest part of the hips and buttocks.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Neck

  • Take the circumference of the neck as shown.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Arm

  • Take the circumference of the arm as shown.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Forearm

  • Take the circumference of the forearm as shown.
  • Flat measurement. Do not put allowances.

Pants Length

  • Pants length is measured from your belt line down to your prefered length.
  • Belt line varies from person to person, some wear their pants on high waistline, regular or low waistline.
  • So make sure that you start the measurement on the place where you wear your belt.

Waistline / Belt line

  • Take the measurement of your waistline as shown.
  • Waistline is determined by where you place your belt. Thus, waistline varies from person to person.
  • Some wear their pants on high, regular or low waistline.
  • Person with big tummies usually were there pants below their belly.

Crotch

  • Measure from the top of the belt line, going around the inseam, up to the back of the belt line.

Thigh

  • Measure the circumference of the thigh as shown.
  • No allowances. Just Flat measurement.

Knee

  • Measure the circumference of the knee as shown.
  • No allowances. Just Flat measurement.

Calf

  • Measure the circumference of the Calf as shown.
  • Place the tape measure on the biggest part of the Calf.
  • No allowances. Just Flat measurement.

Hem

  • Provide desired width or looseness of pants hem.
