Vest Length From the pt A (back of the neck), down to pt B, (just 2 inches above the hip line).Hip line – lies on the fullest part of the hips Shoulder width Measure the shoulder width starting from one end of the shoulder up to the other end of the shoulder. Tape must run thru the contour of the shoulder. “End of the shoulder” is defined as where the horizontal plane of the shoulder intersects the vertical plane of the arm (see illustration). Sleeves length Measure from the end of the shoulder down to the joint of the wrist. Chest Chest circumference is taken by wrapping the tape measure around the biggest part of the chest, as shown in the picture.Flat measurement. Do not put allowances. Thus, waistline varies from person to person.Some wear their pants on high, regular or low waistline.Person with big tummies usually were there pants below their belly. Crotch Measure from the top of the belt line, going around the inseam, up to the back of the belt line. Thigh Measure the circumference of the thigh as shown.No allowances. Just Flat measurement.
